Sick Nene- last Saturday. This is after the trip to the ER and the diagnosis of gastro-enteritis
Sunday, we drove to Cracker Barrel to meet up with Hermano and Vaca Mom and Dad. Vaca Mom asked to borrow my computer for her business trip. Bug was feeling better, although he was not happy with me.
He perked up when hermano arrived.
After we got home, Bug got sick again- silly me thinking that he would be well in 1 day. So he spent the day with me on Monday- no work for me. By Monday evening, Bug was feeling much better- and decided to decorate his hand with stickers.
Tuesday Bug was feeling much better and after 3 days of no playing with kids in the neighborhood
M and Bug had a great time playing basketball.
Friday, Bug's school held their annual walk-a-thon. The kids walk the parking lot and get stamps every 1/4 mile. 4 times around the parking lot is one mile. This year they are raising money to add a shelter/picnic area to the township park next to the school and to raise money for one of Bug's classmates who is 5 years old and fighting brain cancer.
This shows you how far Bug walked. The kindergarteners only walked for 2 hours- one in the morning and one the afternoon. The older kids walked from 8:30-2. One of the older boys walked 20.25 miles. I was one of the people marking the walking log each kids had- I was giving out blue stars.

We had a volunteer appreciation dinner at church last night- outside and with a fire pit.
Mam volunteers too, so we all headed out together.
