It has been busy few weeks at our house. I had to go to Boston for work. My hotel was Charles River this time, looking at Boston from Cambridge. The view was a like a postcard. The other nice thing about the trip was that I got to meet some other colleagues whom I have worked with for 5 years but whom I have not met before.
This is M. She is the project manager on my study. We talk on the phone every week. It was really nice to meet her her face to face finally.
I also got to meet T again. We had dinner one night. She drove almost 100 miles one way to see me. She is awesome.
The downside to this trip was the snow. While it was pretty on Thursday, Friday brought 4 inches of snow and delays at the airport. Of those of us who traveled to Boston for the meeting, only 2 of use made it home on Friday. My flight arrived home about an hour late, but I still got home.
Saturday morning Bug, Mam and I met up with J and N for a trip to the Home and Garden Show. Bug rode a bike to light a light bulb. It is not as easy as it looks.
Handsome little men. They are at the age that they want every single flyer from every booth. We nearly had a meltdown in every aisle.
Thank goodness we found the giant tractors to distract them
And the haystack playground area from the garden center with kid friend ideas to let them play in
Group picture with some one (N) not complying with the photo. These boys have a mind of their own now.
Sunday, the weather was nearly 70 degrees F and I took Bug, Pablo and Mam to the park. Pablo was so excited. Bug was too, but he knew what to expect.
Some playing
some sliding
some snacks- while telling the dog to stay away.
some playing around while feeding the ducks
Pablo quietly begging to go 'play' with the ducks and geese.
Please, please, please let me go over there by the water????? Pablo nearly ended up in the water 3 times trying to get to the ducks.
One happy Bug.
Later tonight, pictures from this weekend- the circus and Bug's first Piano recital.
Love and hugs,
Deb
