quilt show part 2- finally

I am sorry for being so behind on pictures.  I was sick this past week, again.  I am tired of being sick and tired of being tired.  I had lots time to think while I was sick, there are some changes coming for me and then for Bug.
So back to the quilts-  I like this one.  The striping was not so dynamic up close, but from further away it stands out.  Bug liked looking  for different fabrics.  He thought it was another "I spy" quilt.

Bug liked this one because you could count bunnies and irises in it. Man and I liked the colors.

This one made us all think of Guatemala.  We miss Guatemala something fierce.

This one was very cool to me, the artist was an army brat like me (that means her father was in the army too and they moved from place to place).  She made houses for each place she lived and showed the reality of army life on kids- moving every year or so.  Mam thinks I should make something like this, but I am not sure, though I like the idea.

And finally this one- WOW, WOW, WOW.  Even the quilting brings in the animals.  There were hoof prints, animal feed- like carrots, spider webs, etc all in the quilting.  This was the best by far according to our little group.

This one is just plain COOL

This one was 3 dimensional- though I could not see it, even with the 3D glasses.  Bug saw the dimensions.

I like this idea for Dresden plates.  One day when I decide I like Dresden plate designs again, I might do something like this. But it will be awhile.

cute baby quilt idea.

more posts to come this week to get everyone caught up on our adventures here at home.

Bug news to announce, Bug is getting baptized on 03May2013.  Definitely going to try to get pictures, but I will be baptizing him, so I will be giving picture duty to someone at the baptism celebration.  it is a church wide celebration and Bug will be one of at least 10 people getting baptized.  I expect there will be more people being baptized, but I will not know the number until next weekend.

Love and hugs,
Deb
