Thursday night, we played the other 5th grade team in the losers bracket of the tournament. As a reminder, this is the A team we are playing. The tournament is supposed to be for B teams only. It was a route. They won 34-10, and that was after the coach of the A team told his team not to shoot baskets in the 3rd and 4th quarter. It was a hard loss for the boys and parents.
I am still upset about the other coach putting his team in the tournament but it was what it is. Our regular season is done now. We are waiting to hear about the end of the season of tournament. God willing, we will not have a game. But, I think I am hoping in vain. We should know on Wednesday.
