cub scout fun- movie night at the park

We had a great evening.  There was a cub scout meet up, where everyone brought their own dinner to the park and then a dessert to share.  The boys got to play and have fun and then there was a movie.  The weather was perfect, comfortable - not raining, not humid, just a perfect summer night.
The pictures ended up all jumbled and I am too tired to resort them.  So here we are:

My buddy B.  He is the youngest sibling and he was talking up a storm tonight.
The boys playing the card game "War" with Mr. T.  They were very excited about this game.  This was the last activity before the movie started.
Jasper the dog came with his family.  We should have brought Pablo along too, but then I would not have had so much fun talking to the other parents.
Ready for the movie to start.  Ms. J and her family, or at least part of her family.
One of the tiger scouts singing before the movie with his Grandma.
This is how the boys started the night-playing basketball.  They played hard, only one basket was made and the ball got stuck in the basket.  It was funny.  Apparently all the boys in Bug's class are planning on playing basketball for school this year and I am excited because Bug wants to play too.  This is the first year the boys can play for the school team.
B's brother, P.  Handsome young man
L and C, having some dessert
some of the older boys and dads playing Frisbee volleyball, or something like that.
Bug, mugging for the camera

Bug with T, M and P, all set for the movie.  This was right before his best friend from summer camp came over.  Once A was on the scene, Bug stopped interacting with the cub scouts for the most part.  We ended up having a long discussion on the way home about how to treat friends and how ignoring them is not polite.  I think he understands what to do

B- with his so cool eyes, light blue circled by dark blue.  I love his eyes.  He is saying "cheese"

What a handsome little man.

We were out almost 6 hours- what a great time with friends, relaxing and enjoying the summer.  Thanks to the scout volunteers for organizing this event, it was great.

Love and hugs,
Deb
