on the last day of school for 2013, I was blessed to be helper in bug's classroom for the Christmas Party. I made cookies (epic pinterest failure), but the kids loved them.

We played a game- the kids had to race to fill a Christmas stocking with wrapped lifesaver candies. They were divided into 3 teams. The team bug was on came in last, but they had fun.
Then they played a game of "hot potato"- they used a stuff animal while the teacher played music. When the music stopped, whoever had the animal in their hand was out. This is a competitive group.
Tonight is New Year's eve. Bug is having a few friends over for a few hours to celebrate the holiday. Then tomorrow, we will sleep in, I will quilt some and we will finish putting away all the Christmas decorations. Just 5 more days left of our vacation.
