catching up- snow, Cub scout awards and playing with Hermano

Winter is officially here, snow arrived along with the cold temperatures.  This is Thursday afternoon.  Since this was the first real snow and cold temps, we stayed home Thursday instead of heading out to soccer.  We have some crazy drivers around here.

Friday, we had cub scouts.  We had a visitor  from Japan (Gifu is the city she is from) show the cub scouts how to make origami paper cups.  They really enjoyed it.

Awards were handed out, Bug received his popcorn badge for selling popcorn this fall.  He is just so excited.

Then he opened the envelope and saw the gift card to walmart and he was a happy camper.

Tonight, Saturday, Hermano came to stay with us while his parents had a night out together.  I took the boys to Chuck E. Cheese to play (apparently half the city did the same thing tonight).  Bug and Hermano had the most fun playing the firefighter game.  They spent over half their coins on this game, playing it 2 times.

We had some pizza

But the most laughs came from playing air hockey

They threw balls at ghosts

And rode some snow mobiles.

It was a good night- a loud night, but a good night.  We came home and watched some of CARS 2 before Hemano's parents arrived to pick him up.  It was so nice to see the boys having a good time and just enjoying being together.
