it is the second Friday of Lent. Most Catholic churches/schools have a fish fry/fish dinner on Friday for the community. Bug and Mam attended last week while I was in Barcelona. Because it is a fun way to meet up with school friends and parents, we will probably have Friday night dinner at the fish fry thru Lent. Bug and I headed over tonight for dinner. Bug had pizza (I know, pizza at a fish fry, but Bug does not eat fish), I had shrimp and a salad. We both had a dessert and enjoy conversation with friends. Bug ended up helping out at the dessert table, he says they looked like they needed help. I think it was nice thing to do and a great way to talk to friends from school. The money from the fish fry goes to the athletic association to help play for sports at the school. On a bright note, after 7 years, Bug eat fish again- he tried some of my shrimp and declared he liked it. There is hope for his taste buds yet.
