Halloween and celebrating a friend's birthday

Bug's school had Halloween parties on Friday.  At Bugs school, only the kindergarteners through the 4th grade are allowed to have costumes.  This is bug's last year with Halloween party/costume at school until he gets to high school (9th grade)

The kids enjoyed jumping in the picture

These 2 won most original costume (the soccer player) and most scariest costume (the death eater from Harry Potter)

Lining up for the parade through the school- they sometimes parade outside, but it was raining again this year.

The Art Teacher in her hula skirt from recycled newspaper bags.

Bug's teachers were Anya and Elsa from Frozen.

Bug's teacher from last year was Batman

The principal was a moose.

Mrs. Larsen was dressed like a nurse, she is the school nurse.  Easy costume.

Friday night was lovely and I put the pictures on my phone, so I will have to post them tomorrow.

Saturday morning, we woke up to snow.  First of year and so not welcome.

We headed out to the other side of town to help Nicholas celebrate his birthday.

Bug enjoyed the video games to play and the laser tag

He really liked the laser tag

this is what Bug looked like in the dark

after the party, there was more video games to play.  Bug came in first in this race.

Well, we are tired, it has been a busy day and I am off to bed.

Love and hugs
Deb
