Marching Band - State Finals

We headed to Marching Band state finals today. There are 2 weekends of competition, so today the bands found out their rating, but then after next weekend, they will be told where they placed. Most of the pictures are of Jason in the pit crew. I took video of the entire performance.

This guy in the white shirt and hat is the judge for the drum line and pit.

The band did a great job- they were given a rating of 1- which is superior. Of the bands they competed with, all 3 bands form our area got 1 ratings. 1 band from another area got a 2, which is excellent. The band I was impressed with, besides our band, was the band that 22 members. They were outstanding!!!

Now we are home, bathed and ready for bed. Bug is curled up beside me and life is good.
