A Day with Thomas the Tank Engine- All Aboard!!!!!!

last night after I posted, the boys hung out in the tent, eating popcorn and watching the movie.  There was lots of laughing and lots of repeating the dialogue from the movie.  Apparently Bug has seen "Ice Age" enough times to know the dialogue.

This morning, we got up early  and got ready to go meet Thomas!!! We got there an hour before (as the ticket stated).  I know why- because they want you to spend lots and lots of money at the gift shop/tent.  Bug had to make some hard choices, but he got a red train- Rheanus- and he is happy.

After shopping, we headed over to the bounce houses.  Hermano was excited to go over to them, Bug was not too sure.  But he had a great time.  This was the first time he actually went into a bounce house.

Along the back of the bounce house was a slide and that was really the best for Bug.  He was happy.

We saw Sir Tophat (I think I just spelled this wrong).  Vaca Momma wanted the boys to stand next to him, but Bug was having none of that.  I was happy he stood right next to him with me.  But as you can see, I was happier than Bug.

THOMAS!!!!  Ignore the idiot who saw we were taking a picture and insisted on getting close to the boys so he could ask his wife to take a picture.  I had to walk right in front of her due to his idiocy.  If he has stood away from the boys for 10 seconds, we could have taken the pictures and moved on, but he kept crowding into the boys.  At this point, they were pretty loving to each other.  This would end later when they both were over tired and over excited from being on the train.

On the train at last - we were on the first train of the day, in the second car.  We ended up moving the boys to our seats so we were behind them.

Yes, I like this Momma
The mommas and the Mam.  It was a girls day out with the boys while Pap and Vaca daddy stayed home at their respective houses.  Vaca Daddy worked on the farm and Pap rested.  It always seems like seems like Pap and Vaca Daddy miss all the fun with the boys.

The conductors in our train car.  Mr. conductor stopped to chat with Bug.

Watching the scenario going by as the train moved down the track.  The trip was about 25 minutes round trip.

Hermano was happy too

Both boys are Junior Engineers now.
Getting down from the train and a picture of the outside of one of the cars.

Playing on an exhibit in the train yard.

We headed back the event area and let the boys play- we were told that the boys could get a prize for collecting stamps on a paper.  So we walked around getting the stamps.  The prize was not worth collecting the stamps- but the boys had fun.

The boys liked the straw maze.

We headed back to bounce house and had to wait- but the boys loved it.

right after this, the rain started and we headed home.  The boys had a great time, the mommas though the train ride was not worth the cost.  But we are planning a train ride in the Christmas Holiday season near Hermano's house because the boys liked the train rides.

Love and hugs,
Momma
