catching up for this week- lots of photos

We had some fluffy snow this week.  It looked like this until about lunch time and then the temperature rose above freezing and it all started melting.  By the time Bug got off the bus at 3:15 pm, the snow was all gone.  We are getting more snow tonight and Bug is pretty excited that he might get to wear his snow boots and play in the snow tomorrow as the temperature tomorrow is supposed to be 25F.

The last night of soccer, for this session, was Thursday.  Bug had a great time racing after the ball and being a defender.

He loves soccer

Tonight, we had the pack meeting for cub scouts.  The Tiger scouts, Bug's age, were responsible for the flag ceremony.  Bug got to carry the American flag!  Yes, I watched the ceremony with pride.

Posting the colors

The boys made 'newspaper trees" but since the entire pack was working on trees, there was a lot of down time.  So the tigers played pirates with spy glasses and they had sword fights and they generally lost interest at each step.

Awards were handed out- Bug earned his language and culture belt loop.

and the trees turned into elephant trunks by the end of the pack meeting.

Love and hugs,
Deb
