Saturday adventures part 1

This morning, Bug's cub scout den headed over to a radio station to see how the radio station works.  We visited a small station that is housed in a former seminary in our city.  The boys liked the mosaics on the wall.  But, they enjoyed the tour even more.
We were in 2 rooms, here are some of the boys looking thru the window into the studio.  The foam on the wall deadens the sound, but the boys thought it was a good play thing.  Some of the parents thought it might be good to put on bedroom walls to deaden sounds from the bedrooms as the kids play- hehehe.
Mr. Swain explaining how the studio works.

Listening to the explanations and getting ready to record their voices.  The station was actually running programming out of a station in Alabama while the boys were there.

Den leader and another mom watching the boys record their voices.

Hanging out in the hallways after the tour

Just being boys

We have a birthday party to attend in 2 hours and then the last night of the talent show.  I took video of the talent show last night, so I don't want to load that to the blog since the boys names were announced.  Bug I will have pictures tonight.

A busy day for us and it does not end until church is over tomorrow as tomorrow is Scouting Sunday at the church that sponsors the boys.  Thankfully, we can rest all day Sunday.  I am seeing nap time tomorrow leading up to the Superbowl.

Love and hugs,
Deb
