celebrating Guatemalan Independence day

Today was a beautiful day weather wise and family wise. We hung out with our favorite people (although Mariposa is at camp and Bug is missing her as am I).

This morning we headed to Cost.co with Mam and Pap. Bug loves it because he gets to drive the shopping cart for Pap.

Then we played with Mam and Pap for a few hours. After we took them home, Hermano and Vaca Momma came over to our area to go to the celebration for Guatemalan Independence day. we meet up with the FTGA crowd at the park and had a great time.

The kids and vaca momma as seen from the other bank. Vaca Momma was watching me waiting for me to fall into the creek. I am happy to report that neither I or Bug fell in. Hermano went into the creek on purpose- but that boy loves mud!!!!!

It was not all fun- Bug and Hermano were not happy with each other at various points- probably because they both needed a nap.

walking away mad. These 2 nearly came to blows. At some point, they will end up in a fight based on their behavior today. Reminds me of my sister and I. These 2 are brothers so I guess we should expect it.

Bug, hermano, C and J- 3 of the 4 boys together. Maybe D can come visit soon and we can get the boys together for another photo session.

Tomorrow we head out to camp to pick up Mariposa. There should be photos galore tomorrow as we will be spending 4 hours out there.
