Mr. Action Man

It was a gorgeous evening, so I packed up some snacks and some water and headed out to pick up Bug and take him to the park.

This park has a water area- although closed right now. Last year, Bug screamed when I mentioned going to play in the water, this year he was mad that the water was not running. Bug is a man of action and few words (or few stops with smiles any more too)

Climbing up the slide. I thought for sure he was going to get knocked down by other kids 9the park was full, even though the pictures don't show it)

Walking down the slide. He saw one too many older boys doing this.

Climbing up the other slide
Walking on the curb- he was doing it very well, my camera is just slow.

Climbing the stairs from the lake
Feeding the ducks- ssshhh - don't tell on us. The park service prefers that families not feed the ducks, but it is part of growing up. Of course the fact that bug about flung himself into the lake as he threw the bread means that we will not be doing this again. Mam was with us and she was worried too.
Showing the ducks that he had bread. He thought the ducks would come right up
I tired to make him stay behind the edge and he kept stepping on to the edge to fling the bread in the water. The bread landed about 2 inches from the edge. Bug is certainly not pitcher material yet.
More sliding
Jumping
More climbing
More climbing up the slide
Under the monkey bars looking at Bug- it was the only way to get him to look at me or the camera.
Sp proud that he climbed up the monkey bars like the big boys!!!!!!!
Climbing all by himself. He is so big and so confident of what he can do now.
Running

Climbing on the play structure to get to the slide
Banging on the Plexiglas - he was using it as a drum

Finally- resting. But just for a minute and then he was off again. I am hoping that an hour of running, jumping, climbing, sliding and playing has worn him out for the night.
Love to you,
Deb
