The zoo has always been one of Bug's favorite places to go- it has been our calm place on Saturday mornings. even on trip back to Guatemala, we went to the zoo (2 times in 8 days). Bug loves the zoo and he loves to see the animals and comment on everything.
So as we begin this part o our journey- here are some of our pictures from the zoo that surround our important dates

When I asked Bug if he wanted to go to zoo today or go to the parade 9we were invited by a friend last night), he choose the zoo. On the way to the zoo, he asked if Jose, Popi, Mireya, Susi, Karla and Andrea would be at the zoo too. I had to tell him no, but he understood. Of course tonight at the park, we drove to Popi's house . Bug is still working through the emotions and effects of the journey, but he is coming along. As long as I hold the door open and validate his feelings, allow him to explore his past and embrace it, then we are always moving forward in embracing who we are as a family.
This journey will be a life long journey and we are excited to have to you all join us.
Love and hugs,
Deb and Nene
