The blessing of Friends

We had a great day visiting with friends.  It started this morning with my dear friends E and C coming over for breakfast with their girls- lady bug and bitty bug.  This our first time seeing Bitty bug as she has only been home for 3 months.
Lady bug and hijo had a great time playing together. It is so cool to see them playing and becoming closer friends.

Little Bitty Bug is just over a year old. E definitely looks far more relaxed and happy then I have seen in while.  To put some perspecitive- they submitted their dossier to China at the same time I recieved hijo's referral - which was 2006.  4 years of waiting and wondering.

Our afternoon was spent at the park, where hijo rode the ponies 2x and was as happy as he could be.  It was the first thing he wanted to do and he would have ridden the rest of the day, except N did not want to ride the ponies, so that was an encouragement to hijo to find something to do with N.

Unfortunately, the tractors were not to N's liking either.  But Hijo wants Princess Tator Tot to know that he is going to be a farmer and hsi tractor driving skills are improving.

The activity that brought the boys together- looking at the animals like:

 the llama

The Alpacas

a strange pig and horse

2 cute little sheep

And petting the baby goat (yes, Pap, I had the antibaterical hand wipes for the boys after they were done)

Then it was off to the playground for some running, sliding and jumping.

And the time at the park ended with a tractor ride around the area in the big tractor!!!!

we headed over to N's house for some playtime- lots of moving vechicles, lots of balls and plentry of boy drama going on.  Man, these 2 just have a blast together.  I think it was non stop motion for almost 2 hours.  It wears me out just watching them.

And the night ended with both princes in the tower yelling CHEESE loud enough for the entire neighborhood to hear.  It was a fun time.

It was a great day- lots of fun, blessed by good friends.  We are busy making plans for the next get togethers.

love and hugs,
Momma
