Duck Boat trip

Hi Baby-

I hope you are having a great time with Mam and Pap. you sounded so happy on the phone today when we talked. I will be home before bed on Thursday- less than 1 day now as you are asleep and I should be asleep.

Tonight after work, our colleagues here took us on a DUCK tour of Boston. Oh my goodness- this was great. DUCKs are vehicles that can run on the road or in the water. First we were driven around Boston and given some history- remember if the road is flat and straight, it was built on land fill- if it curves and has hills- it is original ground.

Pictures are in reverse order:

The sail boat we boated by. We were awfully close to the sail boats- but it was great.
The wind surfer we almost took out (just kidding).

Going into the water

Train going by as we headed into the water.

The oldest fire station in the country. Sorry the picture is not better of the fire truck- I had the camera closed

Our DICK- named after the bridge near the hotel

These are 2 of the ladies on our team- R (in the white shirt) is from Estonia and R (in the red shirt) is from the US- we are a global team

R&R again

Here are some more of the team- M from the UK, F from Scotland and R from Estonia. I think R won the prize on the boat for being from the furthest away.
The DUCK captain kept giving out stickers for various things- I got one for you since you love stickers.
After taking the DUCK tour- we headed out for dinner. We had Tapas - they were awesome, although too much to eat. I had garlic shrimp, portabello mushrooms and a goat cheese dish. It was great. We stayed out way too late and now it is bed time.
I love you baby- can't wait to see you again and give you big, big hugs.
Love and kisses from Momma
